DOCUMENTING LIFE

AS IT’S LIVED

The kind of photos that softly whisper “you were here”

A young child gently kissing a sleeping baby on the nose, both appearing affectionate and peaceful.

OH AND BY THE WAY,

Your chaotic, loud, busy, shy, extra snuggly, and big-hearted kids are welcome here.

I hear you. You’ve done the photoshoots, gotten all the pictures, and truthfully? The experience wasn’t very fun for anyone, you or the kids. Can I just say – that wasn’t your fault. Family photography that lets your little ones be little, is an art.

And no, your family is not “
too rambunctious” or “too not into getting their picture taken” to leave with photos you absolutely adore.

Here’s the thing. I believe that your messy, sweet, exhausting, all encompassing, soul stirring, perfectly imperfect life deserves to be captured exactly as it is. Maybe I’m crazy, but to me, photography isn’t just about creating pretty pictures - it's about preserving the depth of what makes you, you. The intricate details that make up your story in ways that words can’t. Because these photos won’t just remind you of a specific day; they’ll bring you right back to the feeling.

Picture this: You, your partner, and your kids – hanging out in a location that feels like home and in outfits you feel totally comfortable in, enjoying each other’s company, and just being yourselves.

Are the kids running around? Of course! That’s kinda what they do…

Meanwhile - we chat. We laugh. We create space for connection. There's no rush. Just a calm rhythm where things unfold
naturally.

So you have a photography experience that everyone looks back on kindly, and photos that so sweetly document their growing personalities, as well as your real, too-good-to-be-true, perfectly imperfect life.

WHAT COULD MY FAMILY SESSION LOOK LIKE?

- Doing crafts together
- Working in the garden
- Bringing your newborn home

  • My clients typically book at least 2-3 months in advance, especially for weekends or busy seasons. My schedule tends to fill up quickly, and I’d hate for you to miss out on a spot. The earlier you book, the more likely we’ll find the perfect time for your session.

  • As fun as it is to send my families a lil taste of what’s to come, each image goes through 3 different edits before finding its home in your inbox. Keeping all of the images together through each step creates consistency through your final gallery and if I were to send one out before the final edit, it wouldn’t be complete.

  • As much as you can prepare for your newborn's arrival, let's be real… they’re a little unpredictable. The good thing is that our session is totally flexible!! As long as you keep me in the loop, I should be able to accommodate you and your newborn whether they’re a week early, or a few weeks early!

  • Yes of course! I’m pretty flexible with payment plans, just get in touch and we can talk about what best suits you!

  • I consider my greatest strength to be working with kids of all kinds… it’s actually one of the reasons why I chose to pursue this whole family photography thing! All of my sessions are kid-led. If your kids want to play, we play. If they want to explore, we explore. If they’re feeling cuddly, that’s the perfect time to catch unprompted hugs + kisses. I definitely get one or two family portraits of everyone looking - but most of the time it’s not my main focus!

  • Absolutely! My session fee covers any travel 30 miles from my home in New Braunfels, TX. Wanting me to travel further than that? Reach out to chat about travel pricing! I frequently also service Austin and San Antonio.

FAQs

  • Unfortunately bad weather is bound to happen and does happen when shoots are booked. I will likely get in touch with you a few days before our shoot to discuss potential options. I don't like to call off shoots too early as the weather can be so unpredictable and changes all the time. However if we get to the day before or the day of our shoot and we both decide it isn't suitable to go ahead, we will reschedule. Your deposit will be transferred accross to the new date.

  • Life is complicated and the unexpected is to be expected. The deposit is non-refundable as this helps to protect my business due to turning away all other bookings for your chosen date. I hope you understand that deposit is insurance for my business to stay afloat in the event of a cancellation.

  • Once you decide which session type is the best fit for your family, drop me a note through myinquiry form. Once we sort out the details, I’ll send over a comprehensive questionnaire that will help me get to know your family. From there, I can be as hands on as you’d like as we plan your perfect family session. From there, all that’s left is to show up and love on your babies as I work in the background to document the day.

THESE MEMORIES ARE LITERALLY PRICELESS AND THE PHOTOS ARE NOT JUST A PRETTY PICTURE, BUT A TRUE REFLECTION OF YOUR FAMILY NOW.

This is worth documenting.
